Citrus II Mask Cleaner Wipes are specially designed for daily cleaning of CPAP accessories; the wipes are made with natural ingredients from vegetable-derived cleansers and can be used on your mask, tubing, and machine. Because the wipes are alcohol-free and solvent-free, they won’t damage soft plastic on CPAP equipment like headgear or mask cushions. The wipes will clean and deodorize your mask without a lingering after-smell.

Beaumont Enterprises has responded directly to CPAP.com customers, who requested the need for a packaging seal. The Citrus II wipes now come with a tamper-evident wrapper and must be torn away before you can open this product. 

To Open Package: Flip open dispensing flap and remove lid by lifting upward. Pull up the corner of center sheet, twist to a point and thread through small opening in the lid. DO NOT PUSH FINGER THROUGH OPENING. Replace lid and PULL WIPE AT AN ANGLE: the next sheet pops up automatically. When finished, close lid flap to retain moisture.

Can I Use Baby Wipes for my CPAP Mask?

It's not suggested to use baby wipes for cleaning a CPAP mask, as baby wipes can damage the mask cushion itself, and make it less likely to seal. CPAP wipes are designed with gentle ingredients to be less harmful to the silicone or gel used in most CPAP mask cushions.

How Are CPAP Wipes Different from Baby Wipes?

CPAP wipes are usually unscented and free of harsh chemicals and additives, sometimes found in other cleaners. Certain chemicals (especially petroleum-based products can break down the silicone or gel. It's also important to remember, chemicals leave a residue. Chemical residues can pollute therapy air, making it toxic to breathe. CPAP wipes are designed to clean and disinfect, but not be potentially dangerous to breathe in.

CPAP wipes are also hypoallergenic, designed to reduce skin irritation and not trigger allergies.
